The heart and soul of the Mens 2nd team, it was Johnny who turned things around with the team floundering in Div 9 and rudderless. After a season at the helm he had managed to tightly knit a set of juniors and adults with an excellent sense of team spirit and almost won promotion in that season. Despite giving up the captaincy Johnny still leads from the front, smashing in lots of important goals to get the 2s promoted the following year and continues to weave his magic on the pitch to this day. Johnny is a very much loved character in the team, though his tendency to be a tad tardy (once opening the door when being picked up in his dressing gown and slippers) has given him a number of donkey of the day votes.
